GOOD MORNING PEOPLE

“START IGNORING PEOPLE WHO THREATEN YOUR JOY. LITERALLY, IGNORE THEM. SAY NOTHING. DON’T INVITE ANY PARTS OF THEM INTO YOUR SPACE.” – Courtesy of @thegoodquote.

Dropping a little inspiration for your morning.  This quote really got to me and it is something that i am determined to work on.  Learning to disarm those that are negative around me.  There are a lot of people in our lives that are unnecessary and drain our determination, positivity and vision.  GET. RID. OF. THOSE. PEOPLE.  They might be a best friend/family member or just an acquaintance, it does not matter. If it does not benefit you, it does not suit you, release it.

Let’s not forget that everyone has played this role on someone elses life.  Sometimes we wonder why a relationship deteriorated and why the other person was so reluctant to let you into their space.  Well this might be a reason why.  You were not compatible with their direction, vision, joy and alignment in life therefore you were released, learn to do the same.

  1. Just to challenge this quote through a different perspective.

How do racists tie into this?

Racists are the type of people who feel that people outside of their race are negatively affecting their joy. What good would ignoring them do to eliminate racism? Encouraging these people to stick with their “own kind’ will only fuel and keep the hate alive throughout generations.

One should embrace those who threaten your joy. Find out what the motive is. If it is due to different view, at least you give yourself the opportunity to become more well rounded by seeing life through a different perspective.

    • Great point! Racists might feel more than their joy threatened by those who are not of their kind. I think the point of the article was geared toward those who do not add to your being, those who make you feel less and bad about yourself. There is no need to keep someone like that around. It is good to always surround oneself with those who make you feel uplifted and motivated.

I do agree on embracing over separating unfortunately as we grow older your energy becomes more limited and who/how you decide to direct/spend it on can be a key fact only your success.
